SETTINGS allows studio management to customize TRF app. Seven settings tabs organize the options intuitively.
Need Instant Client Data and Financial Reports?
Your release forms hold the data you need to nail your accounting, book out your calendar, and understand exactly who sits in your chair. The REPORTS tab in your TRF Settings pulls this data into organized CSV spreadsheets and drops them straight into your connected cloud.
Opening these reports reveals everything from seasonal shop trends to individual artist revenue, giving you the numbers you need to run your studio like a pro.
NOTE: TRF only collects data for these reports when a Basic or Pro subscription is active. The app does not collect background data for Bundle purchases. Data collection starts the day you activate either subscription. While exporting reports isn't a Basic Subscription feature, it collects in the background in case you later upgrade to PRO. The Bundles option never collects data.
Sync Temporarily held Waivers to Cloud
If a temporary Wi-Fi drop or network issue prevents a waiver from uploading to your cloud automatically, this feature ensures all your legal records stay safely backed up.
TRF checks every waiver saved locally in the app against your connected cloud folder and uploads only the missing files—ensuring your archives stay complete and your business assets remain 100% covered!
Waivers already in your cloud are never replaced, renamed, or duplicated.
When you need to verify or force-sync your files, do this:
Reconnect your iPad to Wi-Fi.
Tap Sync Temporary Waivers to Cloud.
TRF compares every waiver stored locally on the device against your connected cloud folder.
The sync engine automatically identifies and uploads only the missing files!
When finished, you’ll see a green checkmark stating: "Everything is already in your cloud. Nothing to upload."
Generate Financial Report
Financial Reports Export (CSV)
Keep your accounting clean and stress-free without spending hours manually calculating receipts. The Financial Reports export generates a detailed spreadsheet covering sales totals, session counts, payment methods, and tax breakdowns.
Custom Filtering: Filter numbers by specific artist, custom date ranges, or shop-wide totals to calculate weekly artist payouts and tax obligations effortlessly.
Best For: Accountant handoffs, end-of-month bookkeeping, tax audits, and tracking artist revenue splits.
Client List Export
Client List Export (CSV)
Own and protect your studio’s most valuable asset: your client database. The Client List export packages your check-in NON-HEALTH DATA into a clean, portable spreadsheet.
Data Captured: Includes clients' full legal names, phone numbers, email addresses, emergency contacts, and check-in timestamps.
Data NOT Captured: Anything having to do with the client's health information submitted on the HEALTH screen during intake.
Best For: Importing client records into email marketing systems (like TattooNOW or Mailchimp), backing up client rosters, and analyzing shop demographic trends.
TattooNOW Integration: If you use TattooNOW studio management software and it is linked to TRF, this information automatically populates in TattooNOW.
TRF App CSV Export File Format & Timestamp Guide
When you run an export from the REPORTS Tab, TRF generates a standardized, timestamped file to ensure every record is organized and easy to identify.
File Naming Format: financial_report_YYYY-MM-DD...csv
(Example: financial_report_2025-12-09T22:12:09.1234.csv)
How to Read the Timestamp:
2025-12-09 = Year-Month-Day (December 9, 2025).
T = Time Separator (Standard format separating the calendar date from the time).
22:12:09 = Hour:Minute:Second (Recorded in 24-hour time—10:12:09 PM).
.1234 = Fractions of a Second (Guarantees every generated report has a 100% unique filename, even if run back-to-back).
