SETTINGS allows studio management to customize TRF app. Seven settings tabs organize the options intuitively.
How to Connect Your Cloud Storage (CLOUD Tab)
TRF enables you to connect directly to your cloud—not ours—to store, organize, and share your digital release forms with total peace of mind. Because completed waivers route directly to your studio's personal cloud storage, your records are never 'lost' and never live on third-party servers.
Here is how to access the CLOUD tab, connect your provider, and navigate your studio's automatic folder structure.
1. Accessing the CLOUD Tab
Because cloud settings control where your studio's legal documents and client data land, access is strictly restricted behind your Master Passcode.
Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of the Welcome Screen and select SETTINGS.
Enter your Master Passcode (default is 1234).
Tap the CLOUD tab in the top navigation bar.
2. Supported Cloud Services
Thousands of real-world studio tests prove that you can reliably store, organize, and access your release forms using any of the four major cloud providers:
Google Drive
Dropbox
OneDrive
Box
Studio Security Best Practice: We strongly recommend that the cloud account connected to TRF is owned and operated directly by studio ownership, with carefully controlled login credentials, strict permission settings, and two-factor authentication enabled.
3. Connecting Your Cloud Account
Connecting your cloud takes less than a minute:
Select your preferred cloud service (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or Box) and toggle the switch.
A browser prompt will open asking for permission to grant TRF access to your cloud storage. Authenticate using your studio's cloud credentials.
Depending on your cloud provider's authentication flow, you may be prompted to re-open the TRF app once connected.
Once successfully authenticated, the connection toggle slider will turn GOLD.
4. Automatic Folder Creation & Naming Structure
With your first submitted waiver, TRF automatically creates a dedicated root directory in your connected cloud.
The first waiver your first client submits after New Year's Eve triggers TRF to create a fresh annual folder titled by calendar year, keeping your archives organized effortlessly over decades of work.

To find your files quickly, simply log into your cloud account on any computer, tablet, or phone and search for Beluga Digital App.
5. Delight Your Health Inspector & Legal Team
TRF was developed by active tattoo artists who know the nightmare of paper waiver retention—boxes, filing cabinets, climate-controlled storage units, and decades of accumulated paper fire hazards. We built TRF and integrated direct cloud storage back in 2013, long before paperless workflows were standard in the industry.
When your local health department inspector or legal team conducts an audit, don't hand them a stack of paper. Open your cloud storage on a large screen or iPad and walk them through your Beluga Digital App [year] Tattoo Release Forms folder. See this article to help with that.
Showing health officials clean, searchable, timestamped PDF waivers, complete with captured ID photos, proves your studio operates at the highest level of legal compliance and professional excellence!
