SETTINGS allows studio management to customize TRF app. Seven settings tabs organize the options intuitively.
Quick How-To: Customizing Lobby Slideshows, Accessing your TattooNOW setup, App Language & Account Controls
Need to set up a lobby portfolio slideshow, switch the app language, review legal policies, or log out of your account? Follow these quick steps:
Open MORE Tab: Look at the top-right corner of the screen and tap the hamburger menu (3 stacked lines), tap SETTINGS, enter your Master Passcode; tap the MORE tab at the top.
Configure In-App Slideshow:
Look at the Slideshow Settings section. Import photo albums directly from your iPad Photo Library to highlight recent tattoos, custom flash sheets, or resident portfolios. (Displays automatically when the iPad sits idle; tapping anywhere instantly wakes the iPad back to the Welcome Screen).

Review Legal & Account Controls:
View in-app Privacy Policy and Terms of Service documentation.
Set App Language:
Scroll to LANGUAGES and tap app language to open the language selector. Tap your preferred language (English, Español, Français, Nederlands, or Čeština) to instantly translate the entire app interface.
6. At the bottom of the screen, use Log Out to sign out of the master studio account on this iPad, or Delete Account to permanently remove your profile.
Lock In Changes: Look at the bottom of the left sidebar.
7. Tap the gold SAVE & VERIFY button. Done!
Deep Dive: The MORE Tab
The MORE tab in your TRF Settings houses extra device utilities, language options, and administrative account controls. Located inside Settings and protected by your Master Passcode, this tab lets studio management turn idle iPads into digital marketing portfolios, switch the entire app interface into multiple languages with a single tap, review legal policies, or manage active device logins.
Here is your complete guide to every feature inside the MORE tab.
1. Accessing the MORE Tab
Because the MORE tab contains master account management controls, access requires administrative clearance:
Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of the Welcome Screen and select SETTINGS.
Enter your Master Passcode (default is 1234).
Tap the MORE tab on the far right of the top navigation bar.
2. In-App Slideshow Settings
Turn your lobby iPad into a powerful portfolio and marketing display! When the app is on standby between client intakes, the TRF Slideshow feature transforms your iPad screen into a visual showcase for your shop.
Showcase Studio Artwork: Import photo albums directly from your iPad Photo Library to highlight recent tattoos, custom flash sheets, resident artist portfolios, or upcoming shop events.
Standby Display: Set the app to automatically launch your slideshow when the iPad sits idle on the counter or lobby desk.
Instant Wake: Tapping anywhere on the screen instantly stops the slideshow and returns the client directly to the Welcome Screen to start their waiver.
3. TattooNOW Software Integration
Connect your digital waiver workflow directly to TattooNOW studio management and marketing software!
How It Works: Enter your TattooNOW Location ID and API Key in the MORE tab to link your TRF app directly with your TattooNOW account. (If you do not use TattooNOW, simply leave these fields blank).
Automated Contact Syncing: When a client completes their waiver, non-health contact details (full legal name, phone number, email address, and booking timestamps) automatically sync directly into your TattooNOW client database and marketing workflows.
Strict Health Data Isolation: Your clients’ medical privacy is 100% protected. Sensitive health disclosures, medical screening answers, allergies, and health history are never transmitted to TattooNOW or any marketing CRM—they remain strictly isolated inside your private, encrypted cloud PDF waivers.
4. Legal & Privacy Policies
Maintain 100% transparency with health inspectors, legal teams, and clients regarding data protection.
Privacy Policy: Access in-app documentation detailing exactly how client data, captured ID photos, and signed waivers are encrypted, managed, and securely stored in your personal cloud.
Terms of Service: Review legal disclaimers and terms governing TRF software usage and cloud storage protocols.
5. App Language (Multi-Language Support)
TRF supports international guest artists, global conventions, and multilingual clients with one-tap, app-wide language translation.
Located beneath the LEGAL options, tap the LANGUAGES button labeled "app language" to open the language selector. Tapping a language instantly translates the entire app interface.
To ensure international artists and clients can easily identify their native tongue, each language is displayed in its official native name (endonym):
English
Español (Spanish)
Français (French)
Nederlands (Dutch)
Čeština (Czech)
A single tap on any language updates all menus, intake screens, and prompts across the entire app interface immediately.
6. Account Management: Log Out & Delete Account
Located at the bottom of the MORE tab are essential account management controls for studio ownership:
Log Out: Signs out of the master studio account on the current iPad. Use this if you are transferring an iPad to another station, changing master accounts, or troubleshooting network settings. (Note: Logging back in using your master credentials instantly pulls down all your saved studio settings from your cloud profile).
Delete Account: Allows studio owners to permanently delete their account profile if closing a business or removing an account. (Warning: Account deletion is permanent. Be sure all required historical waivers and CSV reports are safely backed up in your cloud before choosing this option).
