TRF App Settings Setup Guide

TRF app is designed to be customized by studio management through a simple, intuitive interface for tattoo studios all over the world, for managers of all types, for studios of any size. Settings are passcode protected to limit access to them, set by studio management.

SETTINGS lets studio management customize the TRF app. Seven settings tabs intuitively organize the options. On the left side of the screen is an easy interface for loading your logo into TRF to brand it as your own.

The Master Passcode is the only way to access Settings, not the Artist Passcode. This is designed to prevent accidental or malicious tinkering by wayward staff.

Once you set up your TRF app just as you want it, with all of your artists, legal clauses, logo, and tedious legal bits, TRF will automatically back up these settings to your cloud, using the login credentials you provided when you chose a cloud. If you need to log out of TRF, add another iPad, or swap your old one for a new one, just log in at startup; your previous settings will be waiting for you.

Accessing TRF Settings

From the Welcome Screen, tap the Menu Icon (three stacked lines in the top-right corner).
On any other screen, tap the Settings gear icon in the bottom left.
Your initial passcode is 1234. You can change this passcode anytime under the Studio Tab in your Settings. More on Passcodes here.

The Seven TRF Settings Tabs

Settings > STUDIO Tab: Your studio bio bits, logo, artists, health codes, etc.
Settings > FORM Tab: Set TRF to pass along info to your clients in-app, or automatically email it to them, along with their waivers!
Settings > EDITORS Tab: Set the app up with artist gear and pigments, health questions, legal clauses, and more.
Settings > REPORTS Tab: Ask TRF to generate reports about your clients and studio financials.
Settings > CLOUDS Tab: Connect one or more clouds so TRF can upload waivers and reports.
Settings > CRF Tab: Set up Cosmetic Release Forms App, now built into TRF for the PMU artists on that side of our body modification industry.
Settings > MORE Tab: Slideshow setup, language choices, Privacy Policy, account logout & deletion.

Settings: STUDIO Tab

Customize TRF with your basics: logo, studio information, artists, health codes, and passcodes. This information will populate the final client release form.

Settings: FORM Tab

TRF generates reports from the data in your waivers that you can use to nail your accounting, accelerate your business, and better understand your clientele.

Learn how to connect Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or Box to the TRF app to securely store, organize, and share your studio's digital release forms and reports. Your waivers are never 'lost' using TRF app, as they are always in your cloud.
